Recently, next to Mingyuan Water Plant in Xuefeng Town, Mingxi County, Sanming City, the live working team of State Grid Mingxi County Power Supply Company is carrying out live connection work on the 10kV Beida Road II Circuit 965 line. The old column switches have been replaced with intelligent switches, achieving automation upgrades in the distribution network and assisting in the stable and safe operation of the power grid.
Compared with traditional switches, intelligent switches have functions such as real-time monitoring of operating conditions, online data collection and transmission, and remote control of primary and secondary equipment, which are of great significance for the stable operation of distribution lines. When branch line faults are detected, they can quickly and accurately isolate the faulty part, narrow the scope of fault diagnosis, shorten maintenance time, and improve users' sense of power acquisition.
Since the beginning of this year, in order to further ensure the safety of the power grid, the company has carried out a special action to tackle the problem of distribution network automation switches in conjunction with the spring safety inspection. The fixed value and pressure plate of the column switches on the 10kV distribution network lines in the jurisdiction have been verified, and a negative list has been compiled and a rectification plan has been listed; The digital work department of the company, in conjunction with the operation and inspection department, relies on the negative list to upgrade and transform intelligent switches. By adjusting PT wiring, replacing DTF, and connecting communication units with power, the operational level of the Mingxi County power grid is comprehensively improved.
As of now, the company has completed the replacement of a total of 230 automation switches for 53 10kV distribution network lines. Next, State Grid Mingxi County Power Supply Company will continue to promote the upgrading and transformation of distribution network automation, improve the coverage of intelligent switch installation, better serve the needs of society and people, and empower the high-quality development of the power grid.
